Dr Sandra Rubinstein
In these radically different COVID-19 dominated times I am looking to accommodate patients who need psychological care but cannot come to see me face to face.
My office at 2 Ryder St. Noble Park will remain closed for the foreseeable future. I will now see patients for Telehealth consultations, on Zoom, a free service, during the week, or at my home by special arrangement on Saturday mornings.
If patients have a Mental Health Plan from their GP or are approved by WorkSafe or TAC they will have no out of pocket expenses for consultations.
For patients unfamiliar with Zoom I can arrange to teach them the requirements to use it.
To arrange an appointment please call 0408031138 or email me at firstname.lastname@example.org
I am fully registered with AHPRA and fully endorsed for rebates from Medicare, WorkCover, and TAC, and am a member of the College of Clinical Psychology. As well as general clinical psychology, I have specialized in the treatment of depression, stress and anxiety, trauma and Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, anger management, management of chronic pain, and couples therapy.
I am trained to practice EMDR, but I am moving away from that, to EFT (Emotional Freedom Technique) in the management of a large number of conditions. I have trained with Michael Yapko, one of the world’s leading hypnotherapists and experts on depression, and am a member of the Australian Society of Hypnosis. I have additional expertise in eating disorders, body image management and lap band issues. I am eclectic in my approach, and use CBT and DBT, Mindfulness, Schema therapy, and Narrative therapy. I am fluent in English, and speak Russian and Hebrew.
